Hamburg, NY – Three new barns are to be built this fall at Buffalo Raceway, on The Fairgrounds in Hamburg, NY, pending New York State Racing and Wagering Board approval. Two of the barns will include fifty-two permanent stalls, eight tack rooms, and four wash stalls, each measuring 10' x 12'. The third barn will feature up to sixty stalls to be used as a permanent ship in barn to accommodate horses shipping in on race nights. This is the second phase of the Buffalo Raceway backstretch project. In all, six new barns will be constructed including the paddock.

"We are very pleased to be able to build three new barns in 2011, and at the same time fix some major drainage problems in the stable area. Adding these to the paddock that was completed in 2005, and increasing racing days by 10% in 2012, up to ninety-nine, should further solidify Buffalo Raceway's position as a staple in harness racing's east coast" said CEO Denis Lang.

Located on The Fairgrounds in Hamburg, NY Buffalo Raceway concludes its 69th year of harness racing this weekend. Simulcast wagering is available year round in the spacious Clubhouse.
