Hamburg, NY--- You don’t usually see a 0-17 horse with lifetime earnings of $93,068. Well let me introduce you to Fortunista (Credit Winner-Meadowbranch Mary), who finally found her way to the Buffalo Raceway winners circle after reinsman Dan Noble guided her to 1:59.3 winning score, in the $48,104 third division of NYSS for three-year-old trotting fillies.5_Fortunista_Dan_Noble.JPG

Fortunista ($5.00) is owned by Gilbert-Garcia Herrera, and Barbra D & Donald G Amstine of Sacramento Calif. Herrera also does the training.

“I just tried to get her through that first turn nice and easy,” said Noble. “Then when I brushed her to the top, just before the half, she went really nice”.

The winning time was the fastest of the night for the three-year-old New York bred trotting fillies.

The other Sire Stakes winners were Miss Fidget ($14.80), who went wire to wire in 2:01.3 with Eddie Lohmeyer in the sulky, and Anandamide ($2.20) who trotted home in 2:00.1 with Jim Morrill, Jr. at the controls.

Racing will resume on Friday June 22, with first post scheduled for 6:40 pm eastern time.
