Claiming
No Cash!! can be used for claiming a horse.
Only certified, bank checks, money orders are accepted.
Personal checks are excepted for U.S.T.A. transfer fees only which is $33.00
A Coggins test is $30.00 but it's your choice, because horses must have a clean Coggins in order to race.
Paperwork for a claim must be filled out in the Race Office, once the paperwork is complete the claim must be delivered by you or someone you appoint, to the Judges Office, which is located on the Grandstand side of the track, no later than a half hour before post time of the race you are claiming from.
You must provide New York Racing License Numbers and Social Security Numbers for owners listed on the claim form.

Horses claimed in Western New York can only race at Buffalo Raceway at 60 days from the day of the claim.
